Discussion Meeting Meta-Packet

CONSTRUCTION

One of the most common events secular student groups hold are discussion meetings. These usually revolve around choosing a topic to discuss that could either be of significant interest to the secular movement, or alternatively might just be interesting and controversial but unrelated to secular causes. Whether you want to discuss Separation of Church and State, Animal Rights, Transhumanism, or Free Speech, the SSA has plenty of resources and ideas to get you going in the right direction. Below are links to various discussion topic ideas, strategies for moderating and keeping a discussion moving along, and ideas for activities that you could do before or after meetings that might supplement the discussion.
