For Students

Q: I'm a student, and I can't afford to donate right now. Can I still be a part of the Secular Student Alliance?
A: Most definitely! SMemberships to SSA are free for students. This means you can be a member at no cost to you! As long as you're a student, you can sign up for free and join the network of activists changing the world! Please also check out our list of other ways to support the SSA.

Q: How can I become an active SSA student?
A: To start, see if there’s an SSA affiliate group in your area. If there isn’t, that’s okay! We can help you get started on your own. We can send you a free Group Starting Packet and offer hands-on help from our Campus Organizing team, who have experience running secular groups. Don’t forget, if you’re a student, you can become a Student Member, so even if you cannot form an affiliate at your school you can still be a part of the Secular Student Alliance!

Q: I just graduated, how can I stay involved with helping out the Secular Student Alliance?
A: We want you to still support the SSA! We have a new Alumni Program. You can check out how you can get involved in our partner organizations and in your local community. We also have a discounted Alumni Supporter rate for recent graduates.
