Social EventsSubmitted by UTAbecky on Sun, 2007-06-03 11:26.
We hold regular meetings in which there is always a discussion topic. It can get pretty intense, so we have started meeting at the local pub for dinner and/or drinks afterwards to wind down and have more social time. It was pointed out to me that with all the meetings, events, educational stuff, etc. that Freethought groups sometimes forget to just go out together and have fun. I agree. Since then, we have tried to incorporate more field trips and social events. What are some good Social Events that we can have to get to know each other outside of just the meetings? Have other groups been successful in bringing in more people through social events or regular Freethought events? ( categories: Best Practices )
