Dan Barker, co-president of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, will be speaking about his journey from preacher to atheist at Cal State U. Monterey Bay and UC Santa Cruz. He will be accompanied by August E. Brunsman IV, the executive director of the Secular Student Alliance. Mr. Brunsman hopes to make contact with students interested in starting campus groups for atheists, agnostics, humanists, skeptics and anyone interested in living life without belief in the supernatural. Dan's presentation at CSUMB will be on Monday - Oct. 22nd at 7:00 p.m. in room 118 of the University Center (map) which is also known as Building 29. Dan's presentation at UCSC will be on Tuesday - Oct. 23rd at 10:30 a.m. in the Alumni Room of the University Center (map).
