Our Struggles with Disbelief will be a compilation of short stories from current and upcoming leaders in the atheist/agnostic/freethinker/humanist movement.  The short stories should be non-fiction and discuss challenges that the author has faced as a nonbeliever. Submissions should be no longer than 4,000 words (about 10 pages double-spaced, Times New Roman 12). 

Authors whose pieces are selected to appear in the book will not be compensated, but all proceeds from the sale of the book will go to the Secular Student Alliance.  Please submit pieces (both as an attachment and pasted into the text of the e-mail) to Lisa Swinehart (lisams3@yahoo.com) no later than April 7, 2008.  For examples of short stories on this topic please see SSA eNews issues 9 (here) & 10 (here).
