Richard Dawkins U.S. Tour

Richard Dawkins is doing a U.S. tour this March to promote the paperback version of The God Delusion.  Details are still coming together, but we have some cities and dates below. We will post a more detailed itinerary as we get it.

Dawkins Tour Dates:

March 9th, 2008 - San Francisco, California
March 11th, 2008 - Madison, Wisconsin
March 13th, 2008 - New York, New York
March 18th or 19th, 2008 - Austin, Texas
March 21st-23rd, 2008 - Minneapolis, Minnesota

This tour is a collaborative effort between the publisher, the Richard Dawkins Foundation for Science and Reason, the Center For Inquiry - On Campus, and the Secular Student Alliance.

Secular Student Alliance Conference

Also, the Secular Student Alliance's 2008 national conference will be June 6-8, 2008 in Washington, DC.  Our conference will be part of the American Humanist Association and the International Humanist and Ethical Union's conference.  The schedule for all these events is still coming together, but you can see what's planned already at the conference website.  We will, of course, post further details as we get them.  We will also be offering travel grants as we did last year.  We'll let you know when the application for them is posted.

Do you have any areas in which you would really like training?  Do you have any speakers to recommend (yes, we all know about the four horsemen--how about less well known, but no less fantastic, speakers)?  Please let August Brunsman know at august@secularstudents.org ASAP!
