An Atheist activist for almost 30 years, Ms. Downey has been a featured guest on Philadelphia TV and radio programs and NPR has hosted her locally and nationally. Downey is a certified Secular Humanist Celebrant conducting non-religious life affirming ceremonies as her main source of income. Her presentations usually include visuals, music, handouts, door prizes and audience participation. Whenever appropriate she will includes costumes, awards, and surprises for additional fun.
