Massimo Pigliucci received his Doctorate in Genetics at the University of Ferrara, Italy. His current fields of research are in plant ecological and evolutionary genetics. He is a three-time recipient of the Oak Ridge National Laboratories Science Alliance Faculty Research Award. Pigliucci is a faculty of the Institute for Humanist Studies’ distance adult education program. He is a persuasive and articulate debater who can hold his own against any opponent.
