Arlington, VA Rena Levin has considerable experience as a campus activist, having played a leadership role in numerous campus groups (community service, political, union and academic) at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Her role in the Field Department at Americans United includes developing AU’s campus organizing project, managing the internship program, and assisting in the administrative aspects of chapter and grassroots organizing.
Rena is available to speak about such church/state separation issues as:
-"faith-based" initiatives
-religion and the public schools
-church politicking
-the history of separation in the United States
-what the Religious Right is up to
She is also happy to lead activist "how-to" sessions on skills such as lobbying, writing letters to the editor, building alliances, and how to talk about separation.
