As a campus organizer with extensive experience in organizing and supporting student groups, Lyz is an enthusiastic supporter of the student freethought movement. Serving as the primary coordinator the SSA's student group resources makes her an excellent resource on how your group can make the most of its affiliation with the Secular Student Alliance.
Lyz is also a strong proponent of establishing relationships between student and nonstudent groups. She has helped create the Local Collaboration Handbook in order to foster these partnerships, with the end goal that both groups will grow stronger and that students will remain involved in the freethought movement after graduation. She has spoken to student and nonstudent groups alike about the importance of local collaboration and how to initiate and maintain such a relationship. Lyz would be happy to speak to your group about:
- How to Make the Most of Your SSA Affiliation
- The Wide World of Freethought: An Introduction to National Organizations
