Site is looking good; I see you are using drupal too! One thing I'd strongly, strongly prefer, though, is if you migrated the mailing lists off of yahoo groups. I can't stand the yahoo ads anymore, and I suspect they sell their database of users (despite claiming not to).

I'd really prefer something like mailman, but if someone assures me yahoo groups have gotten better about spam, I'll give them another try.

Rick,

We tried mailman a while ago--it worked fine for a few months and then apparently all copies of mailman stopped working on our server. This is what our ISP told us anyhow.

We've since moved servers, so perhaps it is worth trying again. Alas, our plate is kind of full at the moment. I'll try to get to it when I can.

You might want to try to create an email address just for yahoogroups and see if you start getting spam at those addresses. It's hard to know if they are selling or not.

Have more space dedicated to what affiliate groups are doing. Have them write for your e-News. Also, if you could have a page on the site for each of your affiliates, that might be a cool innovation.

I've been on board wtih you since September now, and unfortunately, I couldn't tell you anything beyond what's goin' on in our backyard. I would like the SSA to take more of a cosmopolitan approach.

Those are great ideas!

I agree that we do need to have more space dedicated to what affiliate groups are doing. That said, we do cover them a bit. Indeed, issues 15 and issue 16 were both dedicated to interviews with student group leaders about what their groups are doing.
