Alison has conducted group running training sessions for students at conferences and to individual campus groups.  She works to help establish and sustain campus groups around the world.  Alison provides grant funding, and speakers to SSA's campus affiliates.  She has an interest in ‘Adding Women’s Voices to the Humanist Chorus’ and has lectured on this topic at  college campuses and Freethought conferences.  Her primary presentation interests include: the philosophical basis for freethinking, the limited language of the freethought movement, how to encourage freethinking women to become more active, and how the freethought movement does and should use humor to rally support.
