skeptic magazineThe Skeptic Society and Skeptic magazine, which hosts the monthly public science lecture series at Caltech, has work for one or two (and possibly more) students on a flexible part-time schedule at a rate of $10 per hour. The job includes computer data entry, magazine subscription fulfillment, and especially fulfilling catalogue mail orders in our mailing room. Our catalogue includes numerous books, DVDs, and back issues of Skeptic magazine, which need to be packaged and mailed each day. Our offices are in Altadena, just minutes by car from Caltech, with a pleasant working environment. There is about 50-60 hours of work needed each week, so we can hire several students to work part-time to fulfill our needs. For further information please contact the office manager Tanja Sterrmann, initially by email at [email protected], and provide your resume and available working days and hours. Please cc the Executive Director, Dr. Michael Shermer, at [email protected].
