If you're a full-time student, you may become a full voting member of the SSA for only $10/year.

Donating to the Secular Student Alliance is safe and easy. Donations from people like you make the work we do possible. Because we are a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit, all donations to the SSA are tax deductible.

A donation from this page does not change your membership status. If you are not an SSA member and wish to become one, please join (and make an optional extra donation) here. We welcome students and non-students alike. If you join, you become eligible to run for and vote in our Board of Directors elections. Membership dues are still fully tax deductible.  Please note that all donations are non-refundable.

The Secular Student Alliance(SSA) is a completely independent organization that relies entirely on the support of atheists, agnostics, humanists and other freethinkers. In order to meet the needs of a dramatically expanding base of campus affiliates, the SSA incurs many costs. Typical expenditures:

The Secular Student Alliance is a democratic membership organization. Anyone, student or non-student, is welcome and encouraged to join. Members of the SSA are eligible to vote in elections for the Secular Student Alliance Board of Directors and changes to our bylaws. Additionally, all members are eligible to run for the Board of Directors. In addition to joining for the first time, you can also extend or renew an existing membership on this page.
