Our campus group will be starting it's sophomore year. Since last year was our first year, we held some small events, but I wanted us to find our identity and solidify our group before taking on anything too large. Now that we are more established, I would like to do some larger events.

For those of you with more experience, what has worked well for you in the past? What were your most successful events? What didn't work? What are some ideas that never came to fruition??

Our campus group is going to put on an "Ask an Atheist" event. I know some other groups have done similar events. Anyone who has attended or put on an event like this:

What questions were asked? Was it well-attended?

Any advice??

Public events tend to be at the core of what most student groups do. I wonder if there are other events that we should be thinking about more.
