This Week: SSA Seeks IT Manager , FFRF Scholarships & SSA's 2012 Annual ConferenceSecular Student Alliance Seeks IT Manager We're hiring again! The Secular Student Alliance is now seeking a full-time staffer to meet the IT needs of our growing organization. The Secular Student Alliance supports a network of over 350 atheist, agnostic, and humanist groups on high school and college campuses. The Secular Student Alliance is a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit. This position is based out of our offices in Columbus, OH. This is not a telecommuting position. This is a salaried position and the hours are typically 9-5 on weekdays. Occasional evenings and weekends will be required. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Also make sure to keep up with jobs in the secular movement at our jobs page. Freedom From Religion Foundation Scholarships The Freedom From Religion Foundation Scholarships are all due next month! There are three different scholarships: one for high school students (due June 1st), one for college students 25 years or older (due June 15th), and finally one for college students under 25 (also due June 15th). All applicants must submit an essay on a specific topic. Winnings range from $200-$3,000 for each scholarship category but there is no specific limit to how many could win (honorable mentions are awarded $200). If you are college-bound for fall, apply now!

We have a growing list of awesome speakers that you can see here. Registration for student members (see above) only costs $39. Housing rates are $54 for a single room and $21 per person for a shared room of 4. We're also accepting applications for Leadership Travel Aid (you are eligible for aid if you are a student member) to help you get there!
